Little Mill Creek is located 7 miles north of
Ridgway on route 948 north. The headwaters
of the creek begin in the Allegheny National
Forest and flow into the Clarion River.   We,
Cliff and Jeanette Stump have been
homesteading at 5508 Montmorenci Rd. since
2001.  We renovated the house and built a
small shelter for a few goats and chickens.  In
2006 we built a 36' x 36' barn that now houses
a woodshop, the goats and an 8n tractor.  We
both share the tasks of milking the goats,
gathering eggs and gardening. In our spare
time we enjoy mountain biking, cross country
skiing and canoeing.

Our mission is to live as simply as possible, to
allow others to simply live.  We have a
reverence for God and for how our forefathers
lived.   We believe that if we eat and live  as
naturally as possible we will have a
pleasurable and perhaps disease free life.
We desire to provide the products we use to
others through our baked goods and natural
food products

Cliff is a native of Johnsonburg, Pa. and enjoys
woodworking with antique hand tools. He is
retired from the Johnsonburg Paper Mll is a
pipefitter by trade. I, Jeanette worked for Penn
State Cooperative Extension for 10 years as a
nutritionist. I bake artisan and whole grain
breads, make  goat milk soap and cheese and
conduct  classes.  My father immigrated to
America from Holland in the 1930's.  I collect
delftware and enjoy foods from Holland,
including pickled herring, ole bolen and
speculaas.
